BCM is a faith community that can best be described by what we value and strive to live out daily. Below are the values we work towards.
WE ARE JESUS CENTERED
Because everyone is created for relationship with God, we seek to reflect the character, compassion, and love of God as revealed through Jesus.
WE ARE WELCOMING
Because everyone is valuable to God, we accept and embrace all people, respecting their differences and aspiring to care for the needs of the whole person.
WE ARE QUESTIONING
Just as Jesus questioned the religious conventions of his day, we honor and grapple with the Bible in community and with God, exploring our faith through conversation and dialogue.
WE ARE DIRECTED
Because we are called to mirror Jesus’ life and teaching, we intentionally love the individuals and communities around us.
